A group of hunt saboteurs (or criminal-damage causing aggravated trespassers as they ought to be known) are smugly smirking at having "caught" Nicholas Soames riding a quad bike on a public road with children perched behind him on a pallet.They filmed the "infringement" while "monitoring" the Crawley & Horsham Hunt for any offences under the Hunting Act and they have passed on their footage to the media.
The Daily Mirror - that sordid ill-reputed record of disinformation, lies and smears that makes Pravda seem trustworthy - has gleefully leapt on the bandwagon of condemnation.
And there was I thinking that broadcasting or publishing pictures of children without their parents' consent was unlawful.
Maybe it's time for those of us who support hunting, the building of bypasses, nuclear weapons and every other cause to which left-wing drop-outs object to start filming them and see how they like their law-breaking to be made widely known. Once their parents see them breaking the law, maybe they will be disinherited and lose access to the generous trust funds that sustain them through their lifestyles of self-indulgence and selfish behaviour?
