One rule for PCs, another rule for the PC

Last month, the police officer behind the Night Jack blog, DC Richard Horton, was disciplined by Lancashire Police for simply writing a blog about his experiences as a police officer. Fair enough, you might think.

And yet yesterday - in a story the BBC has chosen (surprise, surprise) to ignore in favour of more Bush/Cheney bashing - we learned that Azad Ali, the civil servant who is the President of the Civil Service Islamic Society and who delighted in publishing jihadist views, is being allowed back to work without even a slap on the wrist.

This in the week that we remember the murder and carnage brought to London by four Islamists on 7/7 in 2005.

Having lain low as a sleeper for years, Ali was rumbled at the end of last year. That this fifth columnist is being allowed to return to work for Her Majesty's Government in any capacity is a disgrace - although no longer, of course, a shock. The left-liberal establishment gave up the struggle against those who want Britain to be a subservient dhimmi province within a shariah law dominated caliphate years ago.

Which one is the greater danger to society? My money's on Azad Ali.

Wasn't another Civil Servant fired recently for saying Hazel Blears was an expenses cheat and an idiot on some blog? Staggering double standards.

This is an absolute disgrace. Two civil servants have been fired recently, one for criticising Hazel Blears, and the other, a few months ago, for boggling under the name "Civil Serf" and criticising the number of staff employed on "non-jobs".
Its a pity neither decided to go to a tribunal, that would have made the whole matter very public.

She has a case for race, sex and religious discrimination it would seem.

She should file an ET1 as the civil service should have a consistent rule on this....

I dare you to do this pro bono Donal.......
