The superb Drudge Report directs us to McCainBlogette.com - a blog that is written by John McCain's daughter, Meghan. It's well worth a read as it gives a fascinating insight into life on a presidential campaign.It's also smart PR: Meghan is young, sassy and attractive. Her youth could well help offset worries about her father's age (worries that I share - and which make it all the more important that he chooses a decent running mate).
Given the choice between her and Chelsea Clinton, I am sure that the American public would overwhelmingly wish to see Meghan McCain in the White House.
Chelsea Clinton seems to be Hillary without the charm, warmth and looks.

Who would your ideal Republican running mate for McCain be?Personally I am slightly concerned that Condi Rice is getting mentioned as I feel the GOP need someone with a warm, charismatic personality and domestic experience which she evidently lacks.Governors Charlie Crist or Tim Pawlenty seem logical choices with possibly Mitt Romney as a wildcard if he and McCain can heal their rift.
